Share cocktails with Eliza Dushku and Joss Whedon for charity

The charity THRIVE-Gulu (formerly THARCE) will be offering a chance to have cocktails with Eliza Dushku and Joss Whedon in San Francisco on July 26 from 6-7PM.

Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday, July 6 at 9AM. According to info at EventBrite, 100% of the ticket proceeds will go to the non-profit, which Eliza has been raising funds for the past number of years.

THRIVE, formerly known as THARCE, the Trauma Healing And Reflection Center, works in northern Uganda to aid victims of war through a variety of programs. The project was founded and is led by Judy Dushku, Eliza’s mother,  an Associate Professor of Government at Suffolk University.

For her 30th birthday in December 2010, Eliza launched a fundraiser for building the center in Gulu for rehabilitating child soldiers.
