Boreanaz Directs Bones

Tonight’s new episode of Bones will do more than follow last week’s game-changer episode where Booth opens up to girlfriend Hannah about Temperance’s feelings for him.  Tonight’s episode will revisit a long standing enemy of Booth and Brennan’s.  To herald the occasion, David Boreanaz steps back behind the camera to direct!

David first cried “action!” on Angel season five’s “Soul Purpose.”  On Bones he directed “The Bones that Foam” in season four and season five’s cleverly titled, “The Sum of the Parts of the Whole.”  In this Boreanaz-helmed episode, bad memories are brought back for Booth and Brennan as the Gravedigger goes back to court for her last appeal after being sentenced to death for kidnapping and murder as well as other cold-blooded crimes.   But Booth gets another shock as someone from his military past takes some action of which the law would not approve and puts Booth in the bad position of going after a former comrade.

Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?  Be sure and tune in to Bones at 9PM ET/PT tonight on Fox for “The Bullet in the Brain.”
