Yes, it’s that time of year again: Finale Season! Many of your favorite shows are closing their doors to give way to the summer cable season. It’s been an exciting viewing year with some odd scheduling choices by a few networks, some series that entered the viewing fray and fell, and others that soared. We’ll have a full update on which of your favs will return in the Fall as well as what new shows with Whedon alum attached will be airing alongside them in our WhedonAge 2010-2011 TV Preview out later this month. Until then, the shows already renewed are listed along with their finale times. So grab your calendar and make sure the popcorn is ready for a wild and crazy season-ending ride!

Michelle Trachtenberg in Mercy: The 1st season finale will take place on Wednesday May 12th at 8 PM on NBC. Whether or not Mercy will return for a 2nd season has yet to be determined. Stay tune and find out!
Bed Edlund, writer, Supernatural: Ben Edlund, writer for Angel, is currently penning some of the most exciting episodes of Supernatural. Supernatural is set to conclude its 5th season on Thursday May 13th @ 9 PM on The CW. The series will be back for a 6th season in the Fall of 2010.
Nathan Fillion in Castle: Castle’s 2nd season will close on Monday May 17th at 10 PM on ABC. The series has been renewed for a 3rd season and will be retuning in the Fall.
Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk in V: V will end its 1st season on Tuesday May 18th at 10 PM on ABC. Like Mercy, there has been no announcement on whether ABC will renew the aliens-from-outer-space series for a 2nd season.
David Boreanaz in Bones: The 5th season finale on Thursday May 20th at 8 PM on Fox. Bones will be returning for a 6th season in the Fall!
Adam Baldwin in Chuck: The 3rd season of Chuck will finish on Monday May 24th at 8 PM on NBC. NBC has yet to announce whether the show will be returning.
Alyson Hannigan and Neil Patrick Harris in How I Met Your Mother: The 5th season finale on Monday May 24th at 8 PM on CBS. HIMYM will begin another terrific season in the Fall.
Anthony Stewart Head in Merlin: Merlin’s 2nd season is currently airing on SyFy and, if all goes according to plan, should conclude its run on Friday June 25th. But don’t worry, season 3 has already been commissioned and the show is likely to return to SyFy in Spring 2011.
Amy Acker in Happy Town: Happy Town will complete its 8-episode run on Wednesday June 30th if ABC follows through on its intention to air the remaining episodes. Despite a formal announcement, we will not be seeing this series on the Fall roster.
Sarah Fain and Elizabeth Craft, writers, Lie To Me: Lie To Me will continue its 2nd season beginning on Monday June 7th and run throughout the summer, ending on August 2nd. This just in: Lie To Me was renewed for a 3rd season.
